Lighten is a family organizing app that uses an AI model to turn notes into tasks, events, reminders and lists, and shares them with the members of your household. It is provided by 2Pens Media Inc. ("we"). By using Lighten you agree to these terms.
Lighten creates an anonymous account on your device. You are responsible for who you share your household invite code with. Anyone with the code can join your household and see its content until you remove them.
Lighten's suggestions are generated automatically and can be wrong: dates, times, names and amounts must be checked by you before you rely on them. Lighten is not a substitute for your own judgment about your family's schedule, health, school or finances.
Lighten Plus is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks unlimited AI entries, "Organize my week" and "Share the load" for your whole household. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. New subscribers may receive a free trial; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and your App Store or Google Play account is charged. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Do not use Lighten to store unlawful content, to harass anyone, or to attempt to access other households' data.
How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Lighten is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, 2Pens Media Inc. is not liable for missed appointments, lost data or other indirect damages arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms or the service; material changes will be posted here. You may stop using Lighten at any time and request deletion of your data via support.
